Our Passion for Baking

Established in 2013, Momma Jo's Bakery is a labor of love. From my early twenties, I have been baking for my family and friends, honing my skills as a self-taught baker. Growing up on a farm, with my mother being the farmer's daughter, farm-to-table eating has always been a way of life for me. With my mom in the kitchen, we never had store-bought desserts at home. This upbringing shaped my baking style, and from there my passion for cooking and baking grew. My partner Edward brings his love for baking and experience from working in his stepfather's kitchen and bake shop, Groff's restaurant. 

 

Edward and I first started our journey making lunches and desserts at Conover's Farm Stand. It all started with a rice pudding recipe that became a hit with everyone who tried it. After selling our food trailer, we decided to keep our passion for cooking alive by making rice pudding as a side hustle. It wasn't long before we started expanding our menu with cakes and sweet breads that quickly became popular in our community.

 

Today, as husband and wife team, we occupy our own commercial kitchen space and offer a full menu of homemade treats that are made with nothing but love and high-quality ingredients. Every bite is a celebration of our love for baking, and we invite you to come and taste the difference for yourself. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat to share with your loved ones or a cake for a special occasion, Momma Jo's has got you covered.
